Every wedding has a timeline – but the moments couples treasure most are rarely written on it. They live in between: a deep breath before the walk, a hand squeezed a little tighter, a burst of laughter nobody planned. This is a story about those moments, and why I photograph a wedding day the way I do.
The walk
An aisle lined with white blooms, soft light pouring in, and a bride taking it all in. There is always a second where the nerves give way to pure joy. I stay close enough to catch it and far enough to let it belong to you.

The way you look at each other
Some of my favourite frames happen when nobody is posing. A shared laugh, a glance that says everything, a moment that only the two of you understand. That is the feeling I want you to see every time you open your gallery.

Portraits that feel like you
Couple portraits should never feel like a photoshoot squeezed into a party. I guide gently – where to stand, where the light is kind – and then I step back and let you be with each other. The result is elegant, editorial imagery that still looks and feels like the two of you.

The best photographs are the ones you feel before you see.
A moment just for her
I always save a few quiet minutes for the bride on her own – the gown she chose, the train, the lace, the confidence of a woman completely at home in her moment. These portraits become some of the most treasured images in the collection.

As the evening falls
As the light changes, so does the mood. Warm, low light and rich shadows create frames that feel like a still from a film – intimate, cinematic and unforgettable.

A few thoughts for your own day
- Build in breathing room. Ten extra minutes in the timeline protects the moments in between.
- Plan portraits around the light. Golden hour is worth stepping away for, even briefly.
- Choose your must-haves – then trust the day. The unplanned moments are often the ones you love most.
- Put your phone down and look up. Being present is the best gift you can give your photographs.
Your wedding is not just an event to record. It is a feeling to keep. If that is how you see your day too, I would love to hear your story – inquire about your date.
